me+bleach+sandpaper+denim=sexxxy jeans

in a random creative fit, i decided to "destroy" like 20 pairs of jeans in my closet. if you are not up in the denim lingo- "destroy" finishing means the jeans end up looking like they got the shit beat out of them-complete with holes, rips, frays, bleach spots, faded spots and paint.

my first inspiration was to create a new party look from a skirt that had been chilling in my closet. i don't like cookie-cutter things, so i figured this skirt was gonna look really cool after i punked it up...very "sandi". so out comes the bleach, razor, sandpaper and pumice stone. needless to say, it snowballed from there. i went a little crazy when i realize at the finish i had created about 25 new "works of art" from the thrift store denim stuff i had laying around. i'm a denim GENIUS!!!

i have no idea what i'm going to do with the washer full of newly "destroyed" denim pieces, most likely sell them online. ha ha i guess i know what all of you are getting for x-mas.

i needed to get that out of my system, since i tend to go a little nutty when i do not do any form of art for an amount of time. i need a cig now, ripping denim is hot.
