never on the same page

i know i am being completely redundant here, but i seriously think men and women are never on the same page. i mean, ever ever ever.

i really love men, i do. i promise. that said...

i am starting to doubt that i will ever be on the same page with someone with a penis. i can be in the same bed with someone with a penis, sure ok...just not the same page.

for example, i know of guys who complain that all girls are crazy or there are no good girls out there, etc. you know the same ol' story. i find it's unually that same guy who ignores the cool chick who will treat him like gold, and instead favors the bad-boy loving tart w/her thong hanging out the top of her jeans. then they wonder why they end up going through 10 of those types of chicks a month.

so, why do the guys not see what is plainly in front of them? how are they blind to what they are claiming to desire most?

i'm starting to think that there's not so much wrong with me as wrong with those guys. my coolness will not change their mind. it's a self-fullfilling prophecy in a way. it seems satisfying to say "see, i TOLD you all chicks are nuts!".

and another wrench in the joke that is relationships seems to be the idea that there is not much balance. someone is always more in love with the other person than they are with them or vice versa. i love you, you are not that into me. you think i'm a goddess, i want to be "just friends". how often does this happen? more times than i have fingers to count.

occasionally i do find a guy i am interested in & it seems to work out a little like this. i must have some twisted punishing desire to "covert" these bitter dudes. i think they will meet me and realize that i am the exception to the rule of lame-ass chicks. i hope they will experience some epiphany when they go out with me. OH MY GOD! all chicks AREN'T NUTSO!

note to self: stick to dudes who don't think all girls nuts & create chaos...go instead for dudes who can realize what is right in front of them (one frickin' cool chick).
